In 1982, our founder Jim Wilson picked up a bundle of gig posters, a paste brush and glue bucket, and walked out into the cold Christchurch night. It was the first of many poster runs.
His challenges included terrifying weather, drunks, dogs, rivals, UFOs, and officious people who said, “You can’t put that there!” Jim overcame them all, and revolutionised the street poster business.

It can be daunting to organise an event. Don’t worry – we’re here to help. In the past 12 months we’ve promoted over 1,200 events using our dedicated arts network.
